Bought my tickets on Friday for this.
Heads up -- if you have the ability and time, get your tickets from the Trocadero ticket office. Tickets were basically $40 after fees through Ticketmaster (ugh). |

oh man I appologize I didn't get a message from you! I'm really sorry, I hope you still made it to the show...?
Is there anyone going tonight who still needs a ticket? I have one extra that I'd sell for like $20-$25!
call or text me at 610-247-8836, I'll be at the troc around 7 when doors open! |

Don't worry about it. Got up there when doors opened and it hadn't sold out yet (did it later?) so I was able to get in. You guys did have a great set BTW. I saw you guys when the Bosstones gave you props for opening the show and how stoked you were about it. Congrats!
Bah, if I would have checked in here earlier I may have taken you up on a ticket for tonight's show. I should have checked with you guys last night about that. Guessing on the timing from last night I might be able to make it downtown in time for the 'tone's set but I'm good with having attended yesterday.
I hadn't actually listened to anything from Pin Points and Gin Joints (yeah, shame on me) until the set last night. Really enjoying that. Picked up the CD and listened to it on the way home. Some of the tracks in the middle didn't grab me as anything outstanding but I thought the opening few were awesome.

Nice! Yeah I was talking to Jen from Croc Rock and she said it was pretty much sold out by the end of the night. A lot of people bought at the door.
Yeah we were totally goofy when they were talking about us, it was a really rad night!
Pin Points will grow on ya. It's definitely a good album and a great addition to their discography. I was talking about how each bosstones album is a pretty focused and well thought out sound. This one gives them a lot of really good songs to add to their set and shows an interesting progression in their style! Sister Mary and I Wrote It are two of my favorites for the awesome way Dicky uses alliteration, assonance, and rhyming, and the horns kill it with classic bosstones style throughout the record! |

They killed it last night at the Trocadero! They did do quite a few songs off of PP&GJ -- only about half the songs on that album do anything for me, but it was cool to see 'Sad Excuse' live, I love that song. |
